Magictail HooMagic Glow Series Trolling Lure – 1, 2, 3 & 6oz
Magictail HooMagic Glow Series – The Lure That Fishes When Others Can’t
The Magictail HooMagic Glow Series combines the proven bug-eye bullet head action of the HooMagic with a glow-painted head that stays visible in low light, deep water, and complete darkness. This is the lure you reach for at first light, last light, on overcast days, and any time fish are holding deep and standard colors aren’t getting bit.
Tournament-proven across a decade of offshore competition, the HooMagic Glow has contributed to millions of dollars in prize money for top teams worldwide. Available in 3 glow head colors, 4 sizes, and 3 rig configurations — choose the exact setup that fits your spread and fishing style.
Why the Glow Head Changes Everything
- Glow-painted head – charges quickly and emits sustained luminescence visible in darkness, deep water, and low-light conditions
- Oversized bug-eye design – creates erratic, distressed baitfish action that triggers reaction strikes at trolling speed
- Works when others don’t – pre-dawn, post-sunset, overcast days, and deep water where standard colors go dark
- Tournament-proven – trusted by championship teams for tuna, mahi, and wahoo
- Best rigged with ballyhoo – the glow head elevates natural bait presentations in any light condition

Pro Tip
Charge the glow head under UV light or direct sunlight for 30–60 seconds before deployment. Run All Crystal in your long rigger or shotgun for maximum glow visibility, and use Pink Tips or Blue Tips in shorter spread positions where color contrast matters. Mix glow and non-glow lures in the same spread — the glow lure often gets the first bite.
